This outdoor chair is comfy to sit in, effortless to rise from, and easy to build. We packed our entire lounging wish list into a single, singular seat. Adirondack chairs, with their wide, drink-holding arms and slat construction, epitomize Americana outdoor furniture. But their low-slung seats make re-emerging a tough task. Our redesigned chair keeps the classic wide arms and easy-to-build slat surfaces but elevates the seat to make standing up easier. And we used stainless hardware and waterproof glue that will stand up to the elements.
