These mounting methods will keep your tables from popping their tops. The trick to mounting a tabletop is securing it firmly to the table apron while still allowing the wood to expand and contract across its width. Here are four methods, utilizing scrapwood or special (but inexpensive) hardware, which achieve both goals.
